By accessing, browsing, or using the MakeMyTrip LLC website, or by booking any travel services through us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services or website.
These terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and contributors of content. We recommend that you print or save a copy of these Terms and Conditions for future reference.
MakeMyTrip LLC provides a platform for booking various travel-related services, including but not limited to tour packages, flight reservations, hotel accommodations, visa processing assistance, and travel insurance. We act as an agent connecting you with third-party service providers (airlines, hotels, local tour operators, etc.).
While we strive to ensure that all information provided regarding our services is accurate and up-to-date, we do not guarantee the accuracy of information provided by third-party suppliers. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time without notice.
A booking is only confirmed once full or partial payment (as agreed) has been received, and a formal booking confirmation has been issued by MakeMyTrip LLC. It is your responsibility to ensure that all details provided during the booking process (including names as they appear on passports, dates, and destinations) are completely accurate.
Any modifications requested after a booking is confirmed may be subject to amendment fees charged by both MakeMyTrip LLC and the respective third-party suppliers. We cannot guarantee that requested modifications will be accommodated, as they are subject to availability.
All prices displayed on our website are primarily in USD, unless otherwise specified. Prices are subject to change without prior notice due to fluctuations in currency exchange rates, fuel surcharges, or changes in supplier rates. However, once a booking is fully paid and confirmed, the price is guaranteed.
We accept major credit/debit cards and bank transfers. A standard booking requires a 30% non-refundable deposit to secure the reservation, with the remaining balance due no later than 30 days prior to the departure date. Failure to pay the balance on time may result in cancellation of the booking and forfeiture of the deposit.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may necessitate the cancellation of your trip. Our standard cancellation policy is as follows:
Note that certain promotions, customized packages, flights, or peak-season hotel bookings may have stricter, non-refundable cancellation policies dictated by the suppliers. These will be communicated to you at the time of booking.
Approved refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment within 7 to 14 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or credit card provider. MakeMyTrip LLC is not responsible for any foreign transaction fees or exchange rate differences applied by your bank.
No partial refunds will be given for unused services, including missed flights, unused hotel nights, or skipped tours, once the itinerary has commenced.
It is your sole responsibility to ensure you have a valid passport (usually required to be valid for at least 6 months beyond the return date), required visas, health certificates, and any other necessary travel documents for your destination. While MakeMyTrip LLC may offer visa assistance, the ultimate decision rests with the respective embassy or consulate.
We accept no liability if you are denied boarding or entry into a country due to incorrect, expired, or missing travel documents. Any resulting cancellation fees or additional costs incurred will be your responsibility.
MakeMyTrip LLC strongly recommends that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, and lost luggage. Travel insurance is not included in the base price of our packages unless explicitly stated in the itinerary.
MakeMyTrip LLC acts merely as an agent for the independent suppliers providing transportation, accommodation, and other services. We shall not be liable for any personal injury, property damage, loss, delay, or inconvenience caused by the acts, omissions, or negligence of any third-party supplier.
Our maximum liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions or the services provided, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific booking in question.
While traveling, you are expected to comply with the laws, regulations, and customs of the destination countries. You must be in sufficient good health to undertake the trip. If your behavior is deemed disruptive, dangerous, or incompatible with the group (in the case of group tours), MakeMyTrip LLC or its local representatives reserve the right to terminate your participation without any refund.
MakeMyTrip LLC shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations or for delays, cancellations, or changes to itineraries caused by events beyond our reasonable control (Force Majeure). This includes, but is not limited to, natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, pandemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government restrictions, strikes, or airline schedule changes.
All content on the MakeMyTrip LLC website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of MakeMyTrip LLC or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without our prior written consent.
Your submission of personal information through the website and during the booking process is governed by our Privacy Policy. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you also acknowledge and consent to our Privacy Policy.
In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us directly to seek a resolution in good faith. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, it shall be subject to mediation, and subsequently, binding arbitration. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Maldives, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
MakeMyTrip LLC reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will post the updated terms on this page, and your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
